Studio Reformer Platform Extender

The innovative Studio Reformer purpose-built Extender is an additional platform that increases the surface area of the Reformer’s built-in Platform. It provides its users with access to twice the surface area for a variety of standing, kneeling, and supine exercises, expanding functionality and providing new training options. By using the Platform Extender, you will be able to change the way you have previously exercised on the Studio Reformer.

The additional platform provides much more space for the feet (e.g., during leg-strengthening exercises or exercises such as the bridge or front split), hands (when doing the plank), and forearms (when doing kneeling exercises). The wider and deeper platform surface area also provides greater stability and comfort for older users and those recovering from injuries who require additional support when working on the Reformer.

Made from maple wood with a non-skid surface, it fits perfectly with the Balanced Body Studio Reformer. The set includes a specially designed pad covering the extended platform to ensure comfort during exercise and to even out the heights of the platform and the carriage.

This apparatus can be easily attached above the built-in platform by sliding it into place. Equipped with a system of hinges, it provides quick and easy access to the springs during workouts and effortless changing of their configuration. In the case of the Studio Reformers equipped with the Revo or Classic Footbar, it is impossible to position them vertically when using the platform.
